Rules and Regulations

Please help preserve and protect our natural recourses by following these few simple rules and help our efforts towards sustainable park management!

  • Entrance to the park is at your own risk. Please do not leave valuables in the open, and lock cars when leaving them.
  • Take all litter back with you and throw it in the garbage bins
  • Smoking in the park is prohibited. Do not throw away burning matches, cigarettes or cigars. The dry vegetation can easily catch fire.
  • Do not light fire in the park.
  • Do not pick up any animals or plan, and leave rocks and other items in their place. Taking these items is strictly prohibited and will be considered poaching, which is punishable by law.
  • Do not deviate from the designated car routes and hiking trails.
  • Dogs and cats are prohibited in the park.
  • Maximum speed limit in the park is 40 km/hour.
  • Make sure you received your park ticket and/or receipt. Our rangers patrol regularly and may ask for your ticket or identification document.
  • We have the right to inspect your car when you are leaving the park.
  • Curaçao has a semi-arid climate with high temperatures and a high humidity. Make sure you have enough drinking water with you when you enter the park.
  • Interns doing their internship on the island need to bring their contract with the Curaçao Stage Bureau or their company contract to eligible for a discount on entrance fee.
  • To obtain the local entrance fee, an identification document (sedula , passportor driver’s license) can be asked for.
  • Traveler’s cheques need to be signed by the owner.
  • US$ are accepted for the value of NAf. 1,75. Euros are accepted for the value of NAf. 2,00.
